Among the all equipments spectrometer plays a vital role at our foundry. Spectrometer analyses the composition of a sample as to the percentage of various metals and gives out the results in a printed format from the attached computer.

QUALITY CONTROL & TESTING - (FETTLING)

Overview Highlights

The removal of feeders and excess material from a casting is taken as the first stage of finishing a casting.

The metal removal is often achieved using manual cutting or grinding. However, more emphasis is being placed on automatic fettling, whereby the casting is placed in a machine programmed to remove materials from specific areas. The method of fettling must be taken into account at the initial casting design stage, so that the process is fast and efficient..

We are having the full-fledged fettling shop to meet out customer specifications with many automated facilities.

QUALITY CONTROL & TESTING - (HEAT TREATMENT)

Overview Highlights

The application of heat to a casting to alter the material properties making them suitable for the finished product or for subsequent processing.

We are having inhouse facility of heat treatment for various cycles like normalising, water quenching, annealing, tempering, acid pickling and pasivation etc..,.

Heat treatment furnace - 25 MT - Bogie hearth type furnace with six point chart recorder.
Heat treatment furnace (Oil fired) - 8 MT and 20MT - 1 No. with quenching facility. (Alloy and manganese castings, with Electronic Temperature indicator)

QUALITY CONTROL & TESTING - (PATTERN SHOP)

Overview

Our foundry has inhouse pattern shop facility to manufacture of patterns, methoding, mounting, reconditioning and rework of patterns with qualified pattern makers.

We are having sufficient storage place for customer patterns to traceable with pattern code also In-house pattern making facility for wood, metal and thermocol patterns.
